Nigeria: Omotola Hits 1 Million Facebook Likes

Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has hit another first among her colleagues and beyond.

The mother of four, popularly called Omosexy has become the first Nigerian celebrity to hit the one million 'Facebook Likes' mark.

The sexy screen goddess was adjudged as the Nigeria celebrity with the highest online fan base.

The Queen of Oxynation, as her twitter followers fondly call her recently clocked 35. She has been away in the United States of America, precisely in Atlanta, where she is having fun.

Omotola, who received several awards last year has always strived to set the pace. Her reality show titled Omotola- the Real Me presently airing on Multichoice DSTV is receiving rave reviews. It is also the first reality show by a Nigerian actress.

Last year in UK, she was awarded The Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts BEFFTA Icon award, a special honourary award for her contribution to the film industry in Africa, Europe and globally. She was the first African to receive such an award.

Married to Captain Ekehinde, a pilot, Omotola, one of Africa's major movie stars has been able to forge ahead and is admired by her fans.
