Kenya: Raila Vows ?total Transformation?

CORD presidential candidate Raila Odinga has said Kenyans should expect "a total transformation" if Cord wins the March 4 elections. He appealed to Kenyans not to gamble with their votes by electing leaders with no vision and a good development agenda.

"From June next year, should CORD form the government, old people aged 65 and above will receive a monthly income under the social safety net programme. My government will further provide school uniforms," Raila said.

He was speaking at Nandi Hills Stadium during a Cord rally hosted by ODM chair Henry Kosgey and was accompanied by ministers Fred Gumo, James Orengo and Anyang' Nyong'o.
