Kenya: Youth Condemn Embu Fracas

YOUTH in Uasin Gishu have condemned the recent disruption of a Cord rally in Embu. Embu youth stoned the Prime Minister Raila Odinga's entourage at a rally on Friday.

The co-ordinator of North Rift Theatre Ambassadors, Ken Ruto, said there should not be a repeat of such violence with less than two weeks to March 4 elections.

He called for "stern action" to be taken against the culprits. "We have been sensitising the youth on the importance of peace and urging them not to allow politicians to use them to propagate their self interests,"Ruto said.
