The Equity Bank Scholarship Program will benefit 25 needy students who scored more than 350 marks in last year's KCPE in Migori. The scholarship will cover tuition fees for eight students from Awendo and Rongo and nine from Uriri.
"The candidates will undergo thorough vetting by the Equity Bank Scholarship Board which consists," Gregory Okoth, the bank's regional manager in Migori said.
The students will also receive an annual mentorship under the 'Equity Wings to Fly' program. Okoth was speaking when he toured Awendo.
