Angola: Namibe to Host Meeting of South Military Region Command

Namibe — The city of Namibe will host on 19-20 February the 2012/2013 assessment meeting of the South Military Region Command, which covers the provinces of Namibe, Cunene, Huíla and Kuando Kubango.

The gathering is to be attended by the mentioned region's commander, general Apolo Felino Yacuvela, as well as other commanders, assistant commanders and military chiefs.

According to the programme received by ANGOP, the participants in the meeting will analyse themes like the degree of fulfilment of the region's guidelines in the 2012/2013 period, the disciplinary situation of the troops, as well as the situation with armament and technical means.

Throughout the gathering, there will be two lectures to be presented by general Kiangala and brigadier Kizua.
