Angola: Govt Official Praises Evangelic Church for Its Social Intervention

Caluquembe — The minister of Former Combatants, Kundy Paihama, last Sunday in Caluquembe locality, southern Huila Province, said that the Evangelic Sinodal Church of Angola (IESA) has been a fundamental partner of the government in resolving several social problems in the communities.

Speaking at a religious cult, which served to present new workers of the church, Kundy Paihama said that the congregation has been helping the government to solve various social problems, mainly in the sectors of health and education.

The minister revealed that the church has a reference hospital in Caluquembe Municipality, which has helped people from different parts of the country.

"I have been visiting several churches and notice good references in them, so I encourage the religious leaders to follow the example of IESA, because the winners will be the faithful", he stressed.
