Eritrea: Residents of Eden Urban Center Call for Stepped Up Endeavors Regarding Reinforcement of Youth Production Capacity

Elabered — The residents of Eden urban center, Elabered sub-zone, have called for stepped up endeavors regarding reinforcement of youth production capacity. They made the call at a meeting in which they lauded the government's commitment to this end, and expressed readiness to back up the national development drive.

Moreover, the participants of the meeting heard reports pertaining to the accomplishments registered in the locality in collaboration with the PFDJ branch and government institutions, and conducted in-depth discussions on various issues.

Mr. Yohanes Meharena, Administrator of the urban center, called on parents and pertinent bodies to enhance their role in promoting educational values vis-à-vis youth health.

Mr. Luigi Hussein, head of the NUEYS branch in Anseba region, pointed out that it has been organizing various training courses with a view to building youth skill potential. He further called on youths to demonstrate the necessary inclination towards career development and preservation of cultural values.

The participants of the meeting also put forth views as regards various issues.
