Egypt: Military Appeals for Media Accuracy

Official spokesman of Egypt's armed forces on Monday urged media to seek accuracy while covering news about the armed forces.

The military institution realises the sensitivity of the crisis the country is undergoing and respects the citizen's right to know the truth, Colonel Staff Ahmed Mohamed Ali stated on his official Facebook page.

The spokesman said that only he is responsible for issuing any statements or remarks related to the armed forces.
