Egypt: Minister - Egypt Resumes Mediterranean Solar Energy and Desertec Projects

Minister of Electricity and Energy Engineer Ahmed Imam said on 17/2/2013 that Egypt resumes the two projects of "Mediterranean Solar Energy" and "Desertec". These two projects aim at using the sun of the Mediterranean and The Great Desert areas in generating power and then exporting it to Europe.
The Minister pointed out that these two projects are giant ventures that are sponsored by the European Union.
