Kenya: Karua Angry Over Garissa Bomb Plot

19 February 2013

Narc-Kenya presidential candidate Martha Karua yesterday condemned the Saturday night incident in Garissa town where a suicide bomber died as he planted an explosive device at the Garissa Primary School grounds.

Karua addressed a rally near the Kenya National Library Services and termed the planners as heartless. "It shows the extent to which individuals can go to accomplish a mission of killing innocent wananchi," said Karua. She called for better tools for police officers.
