Kenya: Sunkuli Advise to Observers

A Narok senate candidate has urged election observers to stick to their mandate and not interfere with the election process in the March 4 polls.

Andrew ole Sunkuli said the observers should ensure the elections are peaceful and transparent. Sunkuli asked the observers not take sides.

He was speaking yesterday in Narok town after he met European election observers. "They should not interfere and manipulate the outcome of the polls, but ensure the process is free and fair," said Sunkuli. Sunkuli called on the residents to shun tribalism.
