Angola: Government Intends to Build Fisheries Institute in Porto Amboim

Sumbe — The government of the coastal province of Kwanza Sul announced the intention to build a High Education Institute to run course in fishing in municipality of Porto Amboim, under the provincial government programme for next four years.

The information was released Tuesday by the provincial education director of Kwanza Sul, Francisco de Figueiredo, adding that the construction of infrastructure will enable the diversification of high education training in the province.

"Over the next four years Kwanza Sul will work on building of institutions of technical high education school.

The programme also provides for the construction of residences to accommodate teachers and boarding schools that will host young people from various municipalities," he stressed.

The municipality of Porto Amboim is rich in fisheries.
