Angola: Health Department Runs Workshop On HIV/Aids Prevention

Lubango — Forty-five health technicians from 14 districts of the southern Huila province are attending from Tuesday a seminar on prevention and fight HIV/AIDS, sponsored by provincial health department.

The four-day event will discuss the strategy of prevention, methods for distribution of condoms, step up awareness campaigns with the support of the concerned institutions to reduce sexual transmissible diseases and sexual transmissible infections.

Addressing the opening ceremony of the seminar, the head of provincial health department of Huíla, João Kiala Manuel, considered pertinent the training.

According to him, the upgrading of staff on issue will enable the effectiveness of the actions of combat the disease.
