A factory worker was this morning shot dead in a robbery incident in Industrial Area. Seven gunmen had raided the factory posing as workers before they started to steal office equipment.
Two suspects were arrested while the other five escaped. Elsewhere a suspected mugger was yesterday lynched by a mob in Highrise area. The suspect was in the company of three others and had tried to rob locals when an alarm was raised. The other suspects managed to escape.
