Angola: Over Seven Tonnes of Beans Seeds Distributed in Caculama Municipality

Caculama — At least 4,060 families of Caculama municipality, Malanje province, benefited from seven tonnes of seeds of beans for the 2013 agricultural season, in an initiative of the Agrarian Development Station (EDA), Angop has learnt.

EDA's department chief, Dias Domingos Zua, said so on Tuesday, adding that the distribution of seeds will enable increase beans production.

He also said that the peasants benefited from two tractors for their production.

Three hectares of lands are prepared for plantation of manioc and beans.
