Morocco: HM King Mohammed VI to Chair Religious Ceremony Wednesday On 14th Anniversary of Passing Away of Late King Hassan II

Rabat, 19 — HM King Mohammed VI, commander of the faithful, will chair on Wednesday a religious ceremony at the Mohammed V mausoleum on the 14th anniversary of the passing away of the late King Hassan II, a release of the ministry of royal household, protocol and chancellery announced.

On this occasion, verses of the Coran will be read followed by panegyrics of the prophet (PBUH) and prayers for HM the King, says the source.

The ceremony, to start at 6.30 pm, will be broadcast live on the Moroccan TV and radio.

The late HM King Hassan II passed away on 9 Rabii II 9, 1434 of the Hegira calendar, corresponding to July 23 1999.
