Ughelli — Delta State Chapter of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, will commence registration of members between February 25 and March 4, in view of the ongoing process towards the merger of progressive political parties in the country.

Chairman of ACN in the state, Chief Adolo Okotie-Eboh, in a statement, yesterday, said: "Following the ongoing processes toward the merger of progressive political parties in Nigeria, Delta State ACN wishes to announce that there will be a statewide registration of its members, which may be aptly described as the last family census before the merger."

Okotie-Eboh, in the statement by the party's publicity secretary, Mr. Frank Eghomien, said: "The exercise will commence on February 25, and close March 4. The decision was taken at the plenary session of the state Executive Committee on February 15."
