Ado Ekiti — GOVERNOR Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, has forwarded a list of 19 commissioner nominees to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.
Fourteen former commissioners in the cabinet dissolved on January 9, 2013, made the list, with only five fresh names.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to the Governor, Mr. Yinka Oyebode, said the nominees include: Mr. Wale Fapohunda (Ekiti West), Mr. Remi Olorunleke ( Gbonyin), Mr. Kehinde Ojo (Ido- Osi), Chief (Mrs.) Ronke Okusanya (Efon) and Mr. Oluwole Ariyo (Ekiti South-West)
Others are: Mr. Tayo Ekundayo (Ise/Orun), Mr. Dapo Kolawole (Ijero), Mr. Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti West), Mr. Funminiyi Afuye (Ikere), Mr. Paul Omotoso (Gbonyin), Mr. Folorunso Olabode (Ilejemeje),
Dr. (Mrs.) Eniola Ajayi (Irepodun/Ifelodun) and Dr. Olusola Fasubaa (Ado-Ekiti).
The remaining nominees are: Mr. Apalara Wole Adewunmi (Ekiti East), Mr. Debo Ajayi (Emure),
Mr. Jide Arowosafe (Ikole), Mrs. Fola Richie Adewusi (Oye), Mr. Kayode Olaosebikan (Moba), and Mr. Sola Adebayo (Irepodun/Ifelodun).
Former commissioners dropped are Mr. Remi Bodunrin (commerce); Mr. Dayo Akinlaja (Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice), Ebun Awoyemi (physical and Urban Renewal), Dr. Wole Olugboji (Special Duties),Dayo Fadipe (Local Government) and Dapo Salami (intergration and intergovernmental affairs)
