PRESIDENT Mwai Kibaki of Kenya is expected to arrive in the country on Wednesday afternoon for a two-day state visit.
While in the country, President Kibaki will hold talks on various issues of mutual interest with President Jakaya Kikwete, before joining his host in a state banquet prepared in his honour.
Mr Kibaki's itinerary includes a meeting with Dar es Salaam region's elders and a visit to Ukonga Prison to witness different activities as correctional measures implemented to turn offenders into good citizens including tailoring, carpentry and agriculture.
The Kenyan president is expected to depart for Kenya on Thursday. His visit is in response to an invitation by President Kikwete when the latter visited Kenya on an official tour in September last year.
