Windhoek — Tonight is the D-day for both Tura Magic and Ramblers football clubs when the two cross-town rivals lock horns in what promises to be an action-packed MTC Premier League clash at the Sam Nujoma Stadium at 20h00.
The league's new boys are finding themselves in a precarious position on the MTC Premier League log standings and failure to collect the maximum points at stake could spell doom for the plucky and ambitious newcomers.
What makes this tie more intriguing is the presence of former Ramblers mentor Woody Jacobs, on the opposite bench. Jacobs vacated the Ramblers hot seat in a huff, but is yet to taste victory with his new club and watched in shock when his new team endured early elimination from the prestigious Bidvest Namibia Cup, losing against second tier division opponents Hotspurs in the opening round.
Ramblers are without a win in their last three league matches having suffered back-to-back defeats against Black Africa, SKW and lately Mighty Gunners. However, sources close to the Tunschel Street Boys say the mood in the dressing room is upbeat and gave assurances that the club would turn around its fortunes with Tura Magic, the targeted recipients of Rammies' inhospitality.
