Mauritania: Nation Hosts 'Flintlock' Military Drill

A multi-national military drill begins February 20th in Mauritania's Assaba and Hodh provinces, ANI reported on Monday (February 18th). The two-week "Flintlock 2013" exercise, which focuses on the fight against terrorism and trafficking, will include air and land operations.

More than 1,100 soldiers and airmen from 20 African, European and North American countries are participating in the drill.
