Tunisia: Ennahdha Shura Council Attached to Compromise

Tunis — The Ennahdha Shura Council reasserted the party's attachment to the participatory approach in exercising power and openness to all the parties that strive to the achievement of the Revolution objectives, in line with the people's will.

In a statement published, on Friday, after its extraordinary meeting devoted to consultations on the cabinet reshuffle, the Shura Council also reiterates attachment to compromise.

Besides, the council's members call on the other Troika parties to settle the cabinet reshuffle issue so as to give further efficiency to the government action.

In this statement, the council pledges to respect and deepen consensus between the different parties in order to preserve stability during the next stage.

The Shura Council which condemns the last aggression against Ennahdha vice-president Abdelfatah Mourou, voices support to the claims of the "Kasbah sit-inners".

On this occasion, the council calls "to render justice" to the detainees of the Revolution Protection League Movement in Tataouine.
