Tunis — Republican Party Political Committee Chairman Ahmed Néjib Chebbi was victim of an attack, on Friday, when leaving El-Jellaz cemetery after attending the funeral of opposition leader Chokri Belaid.
A group of youths attacked his car and tried to open the doors by force before the intervention of his body guards.
These individuals kept on insulting and stoning him, damaging the car of his bodyguards, a party member told TAP news agency.
