Angola: Justice Ministry Holds Consultative Council

Benguela — The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights is holding on 20-22 February in the central Benguela province its 8th Consultative Council so as to carry out a multi-disciplinary diagnosis of the sector in the country.

According to the programme of the event that reached Angop this Wednesday, the three-day council will gather cadres from the country's 18 province and they will discuss, among others, issues related to the 2013 state budget for the Ministry of Justice and Human

Rights, having into account the existing reality and work perspectives in the sector.

The event, which is happening under the topic "All for a more effective justice", will also assess the Justice Agenda in the executive governance programme for 2012/2017 and the legislative plan of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights in this period.

The council will also analyse the international policy of justice and the activity guidelines of reform commission of Law and Justice.

The event, to be led by the incumbent minister Rui Mangueira, is being attended by provincial delegates and senior employees of the ministry from the country's 18 provinces.
