Tunisia: National Guard Thwarts Smuggling of 15 Tons of Dap, Liqueurs

Medenine — Security forces, Saturday, thwarted an attempt to smuggle different goods to Libya, particularly quantities of diammonium phosphate (DAP) and liqueurs.

An official security source said a brigade of the national guard aborted the smuggling of 15 tons of DAP hidden beneath hay bales, aboard a heavy goods vehicle driving over the night in an agricultural track in the area of Oum Ettamr, Governorate of Medenine.
