Windhoek — Salt Essentials IT received the PMR Diamond Arrow Award for the second consecutive year with local industry leaders voting it as the highest ranked information technology consulting company in Namibia.

A national sample of 270 respondents comprising of chief executive officers, managing directors, business owners, company directors and senior government officials based in Namibia took part in the annual PMR survey. Salt, a wholly owned Namibian company competed with larger international IT service organisations.

The PMR survey rated companies on levels of managerial expertise, implementation of corporate governance and levels of innovation. "The purpose of the awards is to celebrate excellence and to raise the bar in the Namibian business services industry. By winning this award for a second consecutive year we have shown that we know what we are doing and are setting the benchmark for Namibia," said Jürgen Weiss, the managing director of Salt.

Weiss added that Salt will maintain and exceed its present levels of service to ensure companies operating in Namibia receive the best possible service from a locally-owned and managed company.
