One of the Country's leading GSM service providers-CELLCOM has entered into partnership with Total-Liberia to improve its GSM services to the people of the country.

At a press conference in Monrovia yesterday, Cellcom Corporate Communications Strategist, Dr. Kimmie L. Weeks on behalf of CELCOM Management said the new partnership Cellcom between and Total-Liberia Gas service would provide the opportunity for a Cellcom Shop to be open at all Total service stations across the country.

According to Dr. Weeks, the new arrangement between the management of Cellcom and that of Total Gas services was an added advantage to the services already being provided by Cellcom GSM to its many subscribers here.

The Cellcom Executive said the decision by Cellcom Management to established shops at all Total service stations across Liberia was one of the major ways of impacting the Liberian economy, as subscribers would not have to go through difficult times in accessing Cellcom products and services including recharge cards, SIM Cards retriever and blocking of Sims among others valuable services for the people of Liberia.

Mr. Weeks further said, the new arrangement between Cellcom and Total buttresses several other programs by both corporate institutions; including 4-G technology and the fiber optic cable, among others. These were part of the Cellcom Management initiatives aimed at enhancing communications and making mobile telecommunications affordable and exciting for Liberians.

In a brief remark, Total Retail Supervisor, Miss Remma Bull said the business partnership with Cellcom was the decentralization of professional and quality product and services to every Liberian in the country.

According to Miss Bull, the partnership between the two companies was a strategic venture that has brought together two strong service providers from two distinctively important business sectors –petroleum and telecommunications with the desire of serving the people of Liberia.

She said in the fifth year of Total operations in the country, the company has about 22 service stations in eight counties and was preparing to move into other counties in the country as soon as possible to help contribute to the people social and economy improvement in those parts of the country.

Miss Remma Bull concluded by naming Montserrado, Bomi, Grand Bassa, Sinoe, Cape Mount, Margibi and Nimba and Lofa Counties and would soon enter the rest of counties to cover the entire country.
