Tunis — During 2012, Foreign Direct investment (FDI) and portfolio investment reached an amount of 3,079.5 million Tunisian Dinars (MTD) compared to 1,718.3 MTD in 2011, thus registering an increase of 79.2 %.
Compared to the same period of 2010 (2 417.7 MTD), investment increased by 27.4 % according to the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA).
