Tunisian Labour Party Supports PM's Initiative

Tunis — Tunisian Labour Party Secretary-General Ali Ben Romdhane reiterated on Thursday his party's support to Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali's initiative to form a government of "competences," saying that "it is a step in the right direction" in this current stage.

At the end of his meeting with Mr Jebali, he invited the National Constituent Assembly (NCA) caucuses who had announced their rejection of the PM's initiative" to place the country's interest above any other consideration."

"The government's new line-up is expected to be announced by the end of the week," he said.
