The Investment Ministry has said it supports all affiliated public enterprise companies that, according to Minister Osama Saleh, represent an Egyptian industrial and production system.

However, he still acknowledged that the Egyptian economy has faced successive challenges over the past two years. All state-owned holding companies have a responsibility to follow investment plans and upgrade production at their subordinate firms, the minister said. This will help those firms to develop, Saleh noted.
