Gambia/Mauritania: Gambia to Face Mauritania in Friendly

The Gambia will face the Maurabitones of Mauritania in a two-match friendly international to be played in Banjul next week as part of the two countries preparatory games in upcoming continental and global qualifiers.

The Normalisation Committee of the Gambia Football Association announced the development in a press release sent to Observer Sports Desk through its Media Officer Bakary Burama Baldeh. According to the release, the Maurabitones will be arriving Banjul on Sunday 24th February, 2013 to play two international friendly matches against the Gambia National Football team (Scorpions).

The two friendly matches will be played on Wednesday 27th February and 2nd March, 2013 as part of both countries technical preparations for the coming World Cup qualifiers, CHAN and other CAF Competitions. The warm ups will also avail both countries to further cement the already friendly ties between them.
