Kenya: Mombasa Women Hopefuls Seek Security
By Wesonga Ochieng, 20 February 2013
WOMEN candidates vying for different seats in Mombasa now want their security beefed up especially when they campaign in Kisauni.
They were speaking at a breakfast organised by the IEBC.
IEBC south west coast coordinator Amina Soud said they have received 11 serious complains of election related violence but said lack of evidence could jeopardize their prosecution.
She said the civil society is documenting the evidence.
