Some civil servants residing in government and institutional premises in Kilifi have been put on notice over non-payment of utility bills.
Speaking to the Star in his office yesterday, Kenya power station manager Laban Njenga said they have issued disconnection notices which will be effected soon if the arrears are not cleared.
"We have officers who have not only electricity arrears but water and rent," he said.
