Cameroon: Woman dies at PK 10 market

Colette Loken Ngo Sigma, 64 years old, died in the morning of February 15 at the PK 10 Market after she arrived the market and installed her fresh food items on sale.

Eyewitness reports say that upon displaying her food stuff on her table, she immediately crashed to the ground. Her neighbours, thinking that she must have just glided, rushed to the scene and discovered that she was no more breathing. The husband, Simon Pierre Loken was called to the scene. He came and transported the woman to a nearby hospital that pronounced the wife dead. The husband is quoted as saying that the woman was not showing any signs of ill heath, as she left their marital home that morning fine. However, a heart failure may be attributed to the sudden death according to medical analysis. The corpse was later deposited at the Log Baba District Hospital.
