Djiboutian troops from the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) delivered medical supplies to Beledweyne Hospital on Tuesday (February 19th), UN-funded Bar-Kulan reported.
The donation follows the hospital's request for assistance after the withdrawal of the Swiss contingent of Doctors Without Borders in December 2012.
AMISOM officials also met with students, lecturers and administrators to discuss strengthening education standards and enhancing relations between AMISOM and the four universities in Mogadishu.
