Eritrea: Energy and Mines Ministry's Branch in Anseba Region to Reinforce Control Mechanisms

Keren — The Ministry of Energy and Mines' branch in Anseba region indicated that it would reinforce control mechanisms as regards utilization of construction materials. Accordingly, the task would involve inspection on the licensed 151 institutions that are engaged in the sales and processing of marble, lime, sand, bricks, jewelries and the like.

Among masons, Mr. Fiseha Tewle, pointed out that they have been selling their products at fair price, and that they would strive to attain higher output.

Mr. Woldesilasie Baire from the branch office explained that such control would save customers from unwarranted exploitation, and called on the inhabitants to extend a helping hand in this regard.

Likewise, Mr. Habteab Tsegai, head of the branch office, called on such businesses to adhere to low profit margin strategy.
