An official autopsy report has revealed that late pop singer Susan Oluwabimpe 'Goldie' Harvey died from complications of hypertension.

The autopsy which was conducted at the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja and released on February 19, 2013, states that 'the patient suffered from 'Intracerebral hemorrhage' which led to a 'hypertensive heart disease'. This, according to Dr. O.O Oyewole.

Our reporter visited the Lekan Ogunsola Memorial House private mortuary at the General Hospital, Ikeja yesterday where we confirmed the report would be ready. 'She's here and the autopsy report will be released today', a worker at the morgue who would like to remain anonymous told us.

Goldie died on the evening of Valentine's Day, February 14, a few hours after she returned to Nigeria from Los Angeles after attending the 55th Grammy Awards ceremony.

According to the Reddington Hospital, she was brought in dead. Her body was later deposited at the morgue.
