Egypt/Nigeria: Flying Eagles Defeat Egypt in Cairo

The Nigerian youth team put up a good performance against the Egyptians.

The Nigeria U20 team, the Flying Eagles, won their friendly match against Egypt with a two goal margin.

The match was played at the Degla Stadium in Cairo, the country's capital.

The Flying Eagles put up a good performance against the bigger looking Egyptians who featured two foreign based stars.

The Egyptians were thrashed at home with a score line of 1-3 in favour of Nigeria.

The second leg of the match will be played on Friday at Salam Stadium, Cairo.

Christian Pyabara was fantastic with a brace and a superb performance amongst the other guys in the Nigerian team.

The 2013 African Youth Championship, AYC, will kick off in Algeria on March 17 with Nigeria as the defending champion of the Tournament.
