The parties appeared before Justice Ben Hlatshwayo, sitting in his chambers, for a pre-trial conference and reached a settlement.

Ms Ngwenya's lawyer Ms Beatrice Mtetwa of Mtetwa and Nyambirai law firm confirmed the parties had reached an agreement but referred all questions to Mr Wilson Manase of Manase and Manase who was representing Cde Khaya-Moyo.

"We have reached a settlement and for details, I refer you to Mr Manase who is representing (Cde) Moyo," she said.

Mr Manase, who was being assisted by Mr Wellington Pasipanodya, told The Herald that the parties had agreed but they were yet to file a consent document with the High Court.
