Morocco: Mount Everest - a National At the Top of the World

Ibn Nacer Abdeljalil wants to become the first Moroccan to climb to the top of Mount Everest. The beginning of his adventure is planned for March.

Ibn Abdeljalil has already climbed Mont Blanc, Aconcagua, McKinley, and Toubkal), has run many marathons (London, Paris, New York, Valencia ), as well as "Ironman" triathlons (Frankfurt, Barcelona, Phuket Marbella). (Article in French)

    I hope he does his research, it's not something to tackle lightly obviously! Tim Macartney-Snape is a Patron of the World Transformation Movement, an Australian who began his life in Africa and became the first to climb Mt. Everest from sea level. He is well worth reading about - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Macartney-Snape - as his life is an inspirational one especially his interest in philosophical ventures like that of Jeremy Griffith's and his work with the Fred Hollows Foundation.
