Angola: Only 25 Parties Presented Account Reports

Luanda — Only 25 out of the 31 political parties that participated in the 2012 general elections presented their account reports to the National Electoral Commission (CNE), Angop has learnt.

This was disclosed by CNE's chairwoman, Júlia Ferreira, at the end of an ordinary plenary session, that has as goal to analyze and approve the account reports of the political parties related to the mentioned elections.

The official did not reveal the names of the parties and political coalitions that did not present the account reports.

Júlia Ferreira also said that the parties that do not present the mentioned reports can be taken to audit court.

The official added that the plenary passed some recommendations that must be taken into account so that in the coming elections the parties and electoral coalitions be more capable for this exercise.
