Kuito — The Interior Minister, Ângelo Tavares, is paying this Wednesday a four-day working visit to the central Bié province, in order to check the functioning of the structures of the sector.
According to his agenda, the minister will hold separate meetings with the provincial governor of Bié, Álvaro de Boavida Neto, members of the local government, magistrates and prosecutors.
The official will also meet the members of the local consultative council and the provincial delegation of the government department.
He will also visit the construction works of the Unit of Rapid Intervention Police (PIR), Kuito prison, provincial police command and facilities of SAFRI-Commercial Company.
Angop also learnt that the minister will visit the interior delegation, SME facilities and premises of the Civil Protection and Fire Services, among others.
During his stay in the region, the official will also visit Kunhinga district, to check the local police command and lay the cornerstone for the construction of Kuquema prison in Kuito.
