Kenya: Raila Criticises Kimemia of Acting Like a Political Activist of the Jubilee Alliance

IEBC chairman Isaack Hassan has written Head of the Civil Service and Internal Security PS Francis Kimemia over public servants' alleged involvement in election campaigns (file photo).

Head of public service Francis Kimemia has been criticized of acting like a political activist for the Jubilee alliance. Prime Minister Raila Odinga has asked Kimemia to resign and engage in active politics instead of using his office to campaign for a political party.

Kimemia has also been accused of diverting chiefs and assistant chiefs to campaign for Jubilee candidates.
