The Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority has announced that Ethiopia has signed a bilateral air transport accord with Spain.

The agreement was signed between the Civil Aviation Authority's Director General, Colonel Wosenyeleh Hunegnaw, and the Spanish Ambassador to Ethiopia, Ambassador Miguel Martinez.

The agreement will further cement the longstanding diplomatic ties between the two countries. Colonel Wosenyeleh also that the newly signed accord would help to expand the growing trade, investment and people-to-people relations of Ethiopia and Spain.

The Spanish Ambassador noted that the agreement would help facilitate the import and export trade exchange between the two nations.
