Egypt: Aswan Celebrates Sun Perpendicular On King Ramsis II Face

Aswan's Governor Mustafa Al-Sayyed inaugurated on 20/2/2013 the first round of Aswan International Festival for Cultural and Arts which comes within the context of the celebration of the governorate of the sun's perpendicular on Ramsis II in Abu Simbel Temple.

The festival will last from February, 20 to 25, 2013 and will participated by 11 Folklore bands, including 5 international bands from the USA, Turkey, China, France and Indonesia. Besides, there are 6 Egyptian bands: Al-Tannoura, Alexandria, Sharqeyya, Qena, Aswan and Toshka.

In addition, the festival will include an exhibition for the environmental crafts in Aswan Cultural Palace on the occasion of inaugurating the festival. During the festival, the Nubian artist Ragab Sayyed will be honored for his getting the award of the Arab Cities Organization.
