Kenya: I Won't Abandon Raila, Says Ex-Mungiki Boss

Mkenya Solidarity party leader Maina Njenga says he will not waver in his support for Prime Minister Raila Odinga's presidential bid. Njenga, who is the former banned Mungiki sect leader, said he has been drumming up support for Raila and will not back off because Raila initiate reforms.

He was speaking at his Hope International Church at Roosters, off Kiambu-Nairobi border where endorsed aspirants from various parties for elective seats. They included ODM Thika parliamentary aspirant Elizabeth Matare and Nairobi Narc Kenya women leader Tabitha Mutero.
