Kenya: Pupil Selection Unfair - Hopeful

Kiminini parliamentary candidate Chrisanthus Wamalwa has asked the education PS to reverse form one selection at St. Bridgid's High school.

Speaking at a funeral in the constituency, Wamalwa said only four students from Trans Nzoia have been given a slot in the school that was elevated to National School status in 2011.

"If it were not for parents and the Catholic Church's contribution to the school's growth, it wouldn't be where it is now. If it is going to benefit others and not the locals, it may as well go back to Provincial School status," he said.
