Kenya: KFS Trains Staff On County Govt

The Kenya Forest Services has started training its senior staff in readiness for the county government set to take effect after the March 4 general election.

KFS conducted a two-day training for its senior staff at the Coast, North Eastern and Ewaso North conservatives. These areas cover 12 of the 47 counties.

Speaking during the training in Mombasa on Wednesday, KFS senior deputy director Monica Kalenda said the trainings are to equip the staff with the knowledge and skills with performance contracting being the main focus.
