Kenya: Youth Urged to Take Up Farming

Youth have been urged to engage in agro-farming to generate income.

Speaking during the Narok Agriculture Stakeholders Forum in Narok town yesterday, chairman Simon Poror said most young people shun farming and relegate it to the "old" people. "Instead of going to towns looking for white-collar jobs, youth should adopt farming that needs little capital for one to start yet gives good returns," he said.
