Tanzania: Fire Disrupts NBC Chang'ombe Branch Services

THE Chang'ombe Branch of the National Bank of Commerce (NBC) on Thursday remained closed after it caught fire in the morning, the bank said in a statement.

"We are working closely with Tanzania Police Force, Tanesco and Fire Brigade officers to ascertain the cause of the fire and the total loss arising from it.

"As a result, the Branch will remain closed until further notice," NBC announced. It said that Chang'ombe NBC branch customers should visit the Industrial branch on Nyerere Road, opposite Tanzania Cigarettes Company (TCC) or any other nearest branch for services. NBC further stated that customers could contact officials on telephone number 0768 980 933
